Vitreo can be installed on horizontal or vertical surfaces, both indoors and outdoors. It is suitable for wet areas such as showers, swimming pools, and building facades. The size of the tesserae (2 x 2 cm | 3/4″ x 3/4″) and the frequency of the joints (~1 mm | 2/48”) provide inherent slip resistance to the surface. While the mosaic is waterproof, this does not eliminate the need for waterproofing the foundation for swimming pools and similar applications.
